San Francisco proclaims day to honor marijuana store

While California’s backwaters continue to deny citizens access to medical cannabis, San Francisco is going far further than allowing stores — The City is openly celebrating them.
The City and County of San Francisco officially proclaimed October 1, 2015 “The Apothecarium Day”, honoring the professionally run, elegant four year-old club in the Castro District.
“The Apothecarium has become a vital part of the Castro/Upper Market/Duboce Triangle neighborhood … [and] Local merchant groups and the police have commended it for cleaning up the corner at Market & Church and invigorating the local business community,” the City proclaimation states… (more)
